Copyright and Obligations

Authors certify that their submitted manuscript (and supporting elements) are their own intellectual property and that the copyright has not been transferred to others.

Authors certify that the manuscript does not contain plagiarism, does not forge, does not falsify, does not manipulate citations, and that the manuscript complies with the JSS Copyright Policy.

Authors agree that they will not pay royalties for their articles.

Authors assign the copyright of the article to Archival Communications, under which the Publisher has the exclusive right to publish the contribution and its translations, in whole or in part, throughout the entire term of the copyright, including renewals and extensions, and all related rights.

All authors of published articles will have free access to a PDF version of the article.

The authors certify that they have obtained permission from the copyright holders for reproduction of copyrighted tables, figures, data, text, etc.

The authors reserve the full right to modify, redistribute, republish, or archive any version of their copyrighted work.

The authors agree to treat all communications, comments, or reports between the authors and the reviewers or editors as confidential.

The reviewers and editors agree to treat all manuscripts, revisions, and drafts as confidential, except for the final published copy(s).

Authors agree to immediately and irrevocably release all accepted manuscripts and submitted accompanying documents under a Creative Commons (CC BY 4.0) license.
